Drew McGuinness joined Alpha as a Vice President specializing in net lease and sale-leaseback advisory. Drew started his real estate career at Institutional Property Advisors where he facilitated $3+ billion in investment sales volume for some of the world's largest financial institutions, private high-net worth investors, and real estate private equity firms. Before joining Alpha, Drew worked at Olympic Residential Group where he led the team's acquisition and new business efforts, managed a 412-unit development project, and oversaw property management and leasing activity across Olympic's owned portfolio.
Drew's unique combination of institutional investment sales and principal-side experience gives him a distinct advantage in the marketplace. He understands, from a foundational perspective, the priorities on each side of a transaction — from underwriting and capital structuring to the operational realities that drive decisions and owner outcomes. This dual perspective allows him to structure capital solutions that optimize client outcomes while ensuring deal certainty.
Drew earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Santa Clara University. Residing in San Francisco, he is an avid cyclist and golf-obsessed.
